Wife, Mother and brand new Grandmother of twins, I have almost 25 years experience as a certified childbirth educator, doula, doula trainer and have in the last couple of years added placenta encapsulation/tincture, Dancing for Birth classes, and most recently have enrolled in midwifery school. I am a Birth Photographer as well as a birth & postpartum doula offering services based off my south east Asian roots - finding a balance between what my clients need and traditional beliefs. I began my certification as a Labor & Birth Doula in April 2018 through Childbirth International and got the call to attend my first birth literally the next morning. When I witnessed the love and astounding joy that was present in the birthing room that day, I knew it was something I would not be able to walk away from. I completed my certification in April 2019. I have attended births in hospitals, birth centers, and at home in both Nepal and in the US. I firmly believe that everyone should get to have a Doula if they want one. I'm research driven and do my best to act as a resource bank for my clients so they can have the best knowledge to make decisions around the birth of their child. I do not advocate for any particular style of birth - I do advocate for my clients. More than anything, I want my clients to feel competent as parents, to feel listened to as trusted and knowledgeable individuals, to feel empowered to make the choices they feel are best for their family, and to have their child's birth-day be nothing short of wondrous.

Blossom Birth is a non-profit education and resource center that provides parents and birth professionals with a balanced, non-judgmental view of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting. Through classes, workshops, support groups, and accessibility to community resources, Blossom strives to support and inform expectant and new parents to raise healthy, secure children - making our community strong, now and into the future.
