Well, this month started out a little different than usual! I'm writing this to you from Portland, OR, as I'm here with my "baby" (who just finished her freshman year in college!) who came down with Mono and strep! Yikes! I forgot that that could be a "thing" for college age kids! So I came up as quickly as I could to help take care of her and give her some good mama lovin' and medicine! So this month, in honor of her, and a dear customer request - AND in light that school starts for many kiddos in just a month or so (believe it or not - didn't summer just start?), we're offering our Astragalus, Echinacea, Cold & Flu Tincture, Healing Salve, and Hemorrhoid Salve on special this month.
Astragalus - will help to build and strengthen their immune system to help KEEP them healthy, so that they don't get sick in the first place. The trick with this herb is that it needs to be taken daily for an extended period of time in order to do its best work. Kind of like a multi-vitamin or other nutritive - it takes time and consistency. One of our long-time clients said this: "I teach kindergarten. I took Astragalus last winter, and it was the first time in four years that I did not come down with pnemonia. Needless to say, I plan to take it again this year again too!"
Echinacea - should one become ill, this herb stimulates white blood cell production and kicks the immune system into high gear!
Cold & Flu Tincture - helps alleviate symptoms of cold and flu. Healing and soothing!
Healing Salve - customer request! Plus it is not only AMAZING with diaper rash, but healing and soothing on sunburns, rashes, and sore noses from too much nose-blowing!
Hemorrhoid Salve - if we put one salve on special, might as well include the other! :D This is a fan(ny) favorite! (sorry, it had to be said!) :D

Happy summer to you all! And much love! And sorry for bringing up the whole "school starting next month thing! Lol! Feel free to remain in summer bliss while quietly preparing for fall!
