Child Conception

The holy union of two souls, calling together a third soul of a child, is among the most sacred rituals upon the earth. On the deepest level, this process is conscious, with every party performing their function perfectly. How could it be otherwise in God's perfect plan? Yet, you can uncover this wondrous process and bring it to conscious awareness in order to enhance your enjoyment and awareness.

Conscious child conception is akin to an awareness of other sacred activities, such as manifestation, healing, and lucid dreaming. Yet, there is danger inherent in being aware of any of these processes. That danger lies in establishing an ego foothold in the process. In other words, when your ego takes the role of leadership during sacred moments, the process then becomes one where the ego seeks to establish its power, strength, and reality.

The ego urges you to accomplish, while the soul merely asks you to enjoy the process. With the ego in charge, there is a sense of strain, as if you are trying to make something occur. The soul's very purpose is antithetical to the ego's in this respect. For the soul merely enjoys the process as it occurs. It does not seek to glorify itself, as the ego does.

That is why so many couples who deeply desire a child go childless. They have allowed strain and worry to intermingle with the sacred process of child conception, instead of practicing joyful awareness. Nowhere is a situation more appropriately geared toward “letting go and letting God” than with child conception. With great surrender, you erase pressures that thwart your very goal to bear a child! With gratitude shared during the time of coupling, you call upon the highest sense of your forthcoming child's soul.

The child's soul (we'll call is “she” for ease of reference) is reluctant to come forward when she senses strain within her parents' minds. She seeks a time of peace and joy, for optimum manifestation of the embryo occurs within these charitable conditions. Why would a child elect to have her body conceived under arduous conditions, when she wants the best possible chance for it to thrive and grow strong? It is better that she wait until a moment of coupling that is engendered with sweet love. At that time, her mother's womb is warm and inviting, and the child gladly leaps into the process of her body's conception.

Only a child involved in the drama of pain and suffering would desire to conceive when her parents are straining for conception. Such a child will have many opportunities throughout life to notice and heal this pattern. So much better for all concerned, to begin life of a peaceful note.

When coupling with the intention of childbearing, then, wise parents will take measures to fill their heart-spaces with great joy and gratitude. They will revel in the wisdom of their child's decision to come forward at the optimum moment. Rather than force the situation, they will surrender into each others' arms with gratitude at the perfection of each moment. Wrapped in affection, the womb pulsates with love that is irresistible to the forthcoming child. With the attraction and pull in place, the child's conception is inevitable.
